Benefits of Membership

• Membership of Herts and Beds woodturners includes membership of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB).
• With over 90 club members, you can meet new friends and network with local turners.
• The club organises regular members training days, where you can learn new skills and improve your technique. 
• Monthly meetings with professional demo's and club nights. 
• Mentorship available for new turners.
• Access to the club tool lending library.

• Annual membership costs just £43 including membership of the AWGB.
• On evenings when there is a professional demonstrator, there is an additional £3 fee on the door.
• The subscription for those joining after 1st July each year is £20. 
• Junior members under 21 are free.  
• There may be an additional cost for special demonstrations such as an all day demo.
• Visitors may attend a maximum of 4 monthly meetings in a calendar year. The first visit will be free of charge, but a fee of £3 will be payable for each subsequent visit.

If you would like to become a member, simply download the forms and follow the Membership Application Instructions by completing the simple forms and returning them to Steve at a club meeting, via email or post (details are in the instructions) and he will sign you up!

Membership of the Herts and Beds club includes access to our comprehensive lending library. As well as the opportunity to try expensive items before buying, many of our friendly members have experience using the equipment featured in the library, and will gladly help you get started using it.
